These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of THC’s websites, domains and subdomains, community spaces (including Discord or similar platforms), live and recorded events, workshops, sprints, cohorts, memberships, digital products (including templates, prompts, PDFs, and replays), and any related services or offerings (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
If you use the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and “you” refers to that organization.

If there is a conflict between these Terms and the Refunds and Cancellations Policy on refund matters, the Refunds and Cancellations Policy controls. Mandatory consumer rights (including in the EU/UK and other jurisdictions) are not waived.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to purchase paid Services. If you are under 18, you may only use eligible free Services with a parent or legal guardian’s consent and supervision where permitted by law.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated Terms and revise the “Last Updated” date.
If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you (for example, by email or a prominent notice). Your continued use of the Services after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.

Paid Services may be purchased through third party payment processors (for example, Stripe, PayPal, or others). By providing payment information, you authorize us and our payment processors to charge applicable fees and any taxes.
Charges may be processed in USD or another supported currency. Your bank or provider may apply currency conversion fees or other charges.
You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or similar governmental assessments, except where we are required to collect and remit them at checkout.
If you open a payment dispute or chargeback without contacting us first, we may limit or suspend access to the Services while the dispute is pending, and we may decline future purchases where we reasonably believe disputes are abusive or unfounded.
If you purchase a membership or subscription:
Unless otherwise stated, cancellation stops future renewals and access continues through the end of the current billing period. Refund rules are in the Refunds and Cancellations Policy.
By registering for an event, you agree to the event description, schedule, and any event specific rules in effect at the time of purchase.
Many sessions may be recorded. By attending, you acknowledge that your voice, video, screen name, chat messages, and shared screens may be captured.

If you do not want to be recorded, join with camera and microphone off and avoid sharing sensitive information. We cannot guarantee that community spaces are confidential.
We may reschedule or cancel events due to facilitator availability, technical issues, safety, or other reasons. Remedies are handled under the Refunds and Cancellations Policy and applicable law (for example, refund, credit, transfer, or reschedule options).
You agree not to, and not to attempt to:
We may remove content, limit visibility, restrict features, or suspend or terminate access to protect the community, protect our systems, comply with law, or address risk.
“User Content” means content you submit, post, upload, publish, or share through the Services, including text, images, prompts, audio, video, code, links, and files.
You retain ownership of your User Content as between you and us, subject to the license you grant below.
By submitting User Content, you grant THC a worldwide, non exclusive, royalty free, transferable, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, create derivative works of, publish, distribute, publicly perform, and publicly display your User Content solely to:
This license continues for as long as your User Content is stored in our systems, plus a reasonable period for backup, archival, and legal compliance, unless applicable law grants you deletion rights that you exercise.
If you provide feedback, comments, or success stories, you grant us permission to use them for marketing, including your name, handle, and image as made public by you, unless you explicitly ask us not to.
You represent and warrant that:
The Services and all THC provided content, including workshop materials, templates, guides, recordings, replays, videos, slides, prompts, branding, logos, and site content (collectively, “THC Content”), are owned by THC or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non exclusive, non transferable, revocable license to access and use THC Content for your personal use and internal business use only, unless otherwise stated in writing.
You may not, unless explicitly authorized in writing:

THC may provide education, demonstrations, workflows, templates, and discussions involving AI tools and AI generated outputs.

We take security seriously and design our operations to protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the Services.

Despite these efforts, no system can be guaranteed 100 percent secure. You understand that we do not and cannot promise that the Services will be uninterrupted, invulnerable, or error free. You are responsible for using reasonable safeguards on your side (for example, strong passwords, device security, and avoiding sharing sensitive information in group settings).
If you believe you found a security vulnerability, please contact Team@thecuriosityco-op.com with details. Do not publicly disclose the issue before giving us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and mitigate.

Community spaces and live sessions may involve group discussions. While we encourage respectful confidentiality, we cannot guarantee other participants will keep information confidential. Do not share sensitive personal data, credentials, or highly confidential business information in group settings.
The Services may integrate with or link to third party services (for example, Discord, Zoom, Google Meet, Notion, Stripe, PayPal, and others). Third parties are not under our control, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
We are not responsible for third party content, outages, policies, or practices.
We may offer certain features as beta, preview, or experimental. These are provided “as is” and may be modified or discontinued at any time.

Upon termination, your license to use THC Content ends. Sections that by their nature should survive will survive, including Sections 11 through 26.
We may send notices and communications via email, within the Services, via your account dashboard, or through community channels. You are responsible for keeping your contact information current.
The Services are accessible globally, but may not be appropriate or available in every jurisdiction. You are responsible for complying with your local laws, including consumer protection, privacy, and export control requirements.
Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under mandatory consumer protection laws that cannot be waived by contract. Where non waivable rights apply, they control.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, these Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or relating to the Services will be governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of laws rules.
Subject to mandatory local consumer rights, you agree that any legal action or proceeding will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in or serving Ann Arbor, Michigan, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.
If your local law requires disputes to be brought in your home jurisdiction, that law will apply to the extent required.
Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you agree to contact us at Team@thecuriosityco-op.com and attempt to resolve the dispute informally. Please include your name, the email used for your account or purchase, and a description of the issue. We will attempt to resolve disputes in good faith.
If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.
You may not assign these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, corporate reorganization, or sale of assets, or by operation of law.
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Refunds and Cancellations Policy, form the entire agreement between you and THC regarding the Services and supersede prior or contemporaneous agreements on the same subject matter.
