Meet the House

There is a new name on the door and a few things worth saying plainly. Here are the four people running The House of Curiosity right now.

We wrote the founding story on this blog back in April. It was true when we wrote it. The house has changed shape since, the way houses do, and anyone landing here in August deserves to know who is actually inside.

Four of us.

Karissa builds the machinery. She does AI governance for a living, which is why this house is careful with your data in ways most AI communities never bother to be. She runs the calendar, the systems, and the rhythm that makes Wednesday feel different from Friday in here. She also saves the chat from every session and drops the links into Discord afterward, so the person who arrived twenty minutes late still walks out with everything.

Israel is the other co-founder and the sharpest image mind we know. His move worth stealing: he asks the machine for the ideas it threw away. Have it generate ten creative directions, watch it quietly keep five and bury the rest, then go back and demand the discards. More than once they are the better five. Refusing to let the tool be the only judge of its own work is worth more than any prompt he has ever written.

Amanda is new to this blog and she should not be. She took the chair at Curious Conversations this summer and now hosts it every week. She is a certified ADHD coach with fifteen Anthropic certifications and no technical background at all, which turns out to be her whole advantage. She learned this the way you are learning it, so she can explain it the way you actually need to hear it. She shows her failures on purpose. Ask her something she has never tested and she will say so, name the day she will have an answer, and tell you to come after her if it is late.

Sabina goes deep and reports back honestly. Research tools, NotebookLM, building things that break. She will spend a month inside a platform and come back and tell you exactly where it falls apart, in her second language, without softening it. She also stops mid-demo to ask the ethics question nobody asked her to ask, which is rarer than it should be.

Four people. Four different ways in. Same house.
